5.4.1 How to Terminate the System
To exit from a system running on a Linux system, you can use the following command:
■ Shutdown — Shut down the system normally.
■ Halt — halt the sysem.
■ Reboot — Halt the system, shut it down, and restart the system.
5.3 Sysetm Logout
5.3.1 Meaning of Logout
Logout is to terminate processing for a particular user who is logged on to the system, leaving the entire operating system intact. Therefore, all the jobs that the user is processing are stopped, and when all the specified jobs are stopped, all the system resources used by the user are released, and the system is disconnected from the user. Logging out a specific user account will only terminate that account and will not affect other user accounts running on the system.
5.2 System Logon
5.2.1 Meaning of Logon
“Logon” means that a “worker” is assigned to perform work on a computer system, obtain work privilege, and enter the computer system. In a computer system, the worker is usually represented as a “user account”, and an ID is assigned to the account different from other user accounts, and each ID is also usually designated with a password. Therefore, in the logon process, the user account ID and the password for the account are input to check whether the corresponding ID is already registered or the password is matched with the one registered with the corresponding ID.

Once the operating system is installed on the system, the system can be started. Booting is the process by which an installed operating system program starts to work, read all the basic programs needed for system operation from the storage device, move it into memory, and then make it ready to run.

4.6.3 Operating Operating System Installed
When the image copy operation for the operating system is completed on the SD card, the installation work for the system is completed. No additional installation work is required.
Connect all external devices such as monitor, keyboard and mouse to the Raspberry Pi system. Prepare the system so that can connect internet access by connecting the LAN cable.
4.6.2 Copying Image File to SD Card
You should copy the prepared image file to the prepared SD card and make the SD card with the operating system installed.
If you copy an image file to an SD card just like you would copy a regular file, the image of the operating system will not be copied correctly. It must be copied to the SD card in the way that the image is transferred to the SD card.
4.6 Installation Using Operating System Image
4.6.1 Downloading and Preparing Operation System Image File
Download the image file for the operating system you want to install from Raspberry Pi official homepage or other sources. Downloaded data is provided in various compressed file formats. Depending on the situation of the user who installs it, download the appropriate format file, and extract the compressed file according to each compression format and prepare the image format files.

4.5.5.1 Utility Booting Screen
When the utility starts, the utility booting screen always appears as below. This screen appears not only when you install the operating system for the first time, but also when you boot to start the system after installing the operating system.
4.5.4 Installing OS Using Utility
4.5.4.1 Selection of Operating System and Progress
Select the operating system you want to install from the operating system list screen of the utility. You can install multiple operating systems at once, if necessary. Click the [Install] button to continue the installation. Then a confirmation screen will appear informing you that the selected operating system will be installed and all data on the SD card will be erased. Checking here will start the actual installation.
